TASC in the Community

TASC in the Community

TASC strives to be a responsible corporate citizen, particularly in communities where our employees live and work. Our community relations program promotes active employee volunteerism and a long-standing commitment to our local schools.

  • TASC–wide Food Drive Helps Supply Food Pantries During an Overlooked Time
ReStoreCoordinating food drives at TASC offices across the company, TASC Community Relations delivered tons of food to local food banks. The spring and summer months are often overlooked as companies and individuals tend to donate more during holiday seasons. TASC offices in Albuquerque, Chantilly, Rosslyn and Stafford used their collective forces to help fill that need. TASC´s school partners in Chantilly synchronized their annual food drives along with ours, significantly increasing our combined donations. Our team´s generosity helped the Arlington Food Assistance Center, Fredericksburg Area Food Bank, Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico and Reston Interfaith.

Leslie also mentors a student at the school, as part of TASC´s school partnership program. TASC began its partnership with London Towne Elementary in 2000. TASC volunteers are also involved with Stone Middle and Westfield High, both in Northern VA; and Blake High in Silver Spring, MD.
